Popular Metamucil Crackers and Herbal Colon Cleansing: Why It Just May Really Help Your Colon Health

There's a product on the market called Metamucil as sold by the firm Procter & Bet based in Cincinnati, Ohio. They basically sell 2 herbal colon cleanse products, Metamucil psyllium husk drink and Metamucil psyllium crackers. The Metamucil product is a well regarded brand in the market but is it valuable?

I think it is. I've been using both the powder and the crackers for about 2 years now on a virtually daily basis. The crackers are what I use the most and that's the emphasis of this short post. Simply put , the crackers do work. P&G advises you eat the two crackers with eight oz. of liquid. I eat mine with fruit juice. How do the the crackers taste?

Well, they're not great but they're not bad either. They definitely are tasteless tasting, which is extraordinarily noticeable though not explicitly so. Net result they do work. In 24 hours after eating the crackers with juice, it gives you a good bowel movement. The powder works better but the crackers are not bad in helping to supply a bowel movement.

The crackers, though, should not be considered a cureall or fix. They are not “hard core” colon cleanse products. They're more what I might call maintenance products. If you'd like a tough core cleansing product, you want to take a look at something like Blessed Herbs or some other person.

These Metamucil crackers, however, do offer a purpose in helping to 1) make folks more privy to the have to have good colon health and 2) they do provide a good movement. Not great, but it helps. It’s astonishing that some individuals don't have a bowel movement at least one time a day. These crackers will do that. All taken with all, I suggest them on that basis although not as a hard core colon cleaning product. Again, to do you need something better.

Colon health is actually more and more in the mainstream of health fans and even the Ordinary Bloke in the street. That is excellent news and these Metamucil crackers by P&G are evidence of that. P&G has found a nice profit stream but if folk are assisted by taking these crackers, that is then a win/win proposition.
